EverTrue Hack Week!

While school was out of session for their alma maters, the development team at EverTrue stayed fast at work during the first EverTrue Hack Week. Developers were challenged to define a problem for our clients, present a proposed solution and explain the implementation of their idea along with an actual demonstration. Their hard work culminated in five minute presentations in front of a panel of guest judges, including Travis Warren of WhippleHill Communications, Katie Rae of TechStars and Eric Groves, TechStars Mentor and former SVP of Constant Contact. The stakes were high as the team competed for prizes including round trip airfare on American Airlines as part of MassChallenge’s partnership with American Airlines.

After asking the hackers themselves what they thought of the week, they expressed their excitement. In their own words, Tony DiPasquale explained that the week: “let me clear my mind of the day to day and provided me a fun challenge, while also providing  EverTrue a way to come up with ideas and boost our feature list.” Drew Burch also shed his own opinion, stating that: “having the chance to have more freedom, and to work on the business and strategy side is definitely fun and rewarding. Innovation is an important advantage [we have] and we need to cultivate it.”
