The quick run-down: LevelUp is the pay phone app. Allows your to connect a credit card and make mobile payments. Pay with your phone. Save time. Save money! Available at thousands of businesses, makes shopping easy and allows you to acquire credit at your favorite places!

Why Mike loves it: “It’s incredibly easy to use, allows me to earn points on my credit card and on the app wherever I use it. I use it daily. I use it at my grocery store and get $15 dollars off pretty much every week.”

3. Simen, Summer Intern: Wunderlist

The quick run-down: Organize your tasks, sync them between devices and share your lists with anyone.

Why Simen Loves It: “Because I forget pretty much everything, except basic human needs like breathing and eating. Wunderlist has phone and email notifications for tasks and automatically syncs between webapp and phone.”

4. Harvey, Dean Of Marketing Affairs:

The quick run-down: Track your runs, walks, bike rides, hikes, ski runs, and more using the GPS in your phone. Track your fitness activities and have fun doing it!

Why Harvey loves it: “Runkeeper keeps me moving towards the finish line. Whether keeping me on target, motivating me to share my progress or surprising me with a new hidden feature (just got the hands free heart rate monitor!), this app is my personal trainer.”

5. Eric, CTO and Founder:

The quick run-down: The Potty Time with Elmo app is a fun way to ease the transition from diapers to big-kid underpants. This charming app features everyone’s favorite furry red monster. Animated stickers, reward chart, puzzles and, 5 fun songs!

Why Eric loves it: “As a father of two, this app is a gift that keeps on giving. An app
that provides both profound utility and endless entertainment!”

The quick run-down: Never be bored again. With this app, you’ll always be only a tap (or shake) away from the most interesting stuff on the web.

Why Andrew loves it: “iReddit is my favorite app because it’s great at showing me news/content that is interesting to me, and I love Reddit.”

Why Will Loves it: “Favorite app is the WatchESPN app! So long as your cable provider is one of the participating firms, you can watch anything from ESPN’s family of networks on the road, either on an iPad or iPhone!”

The quick run-down: Map your runs, track your progress and get the motivation you need to reach your goals. No sensor or additional products needed, just grab your phone and go.

Why Kelsey loves it: “Motivates me during runs with voice feature talking to me every mile, telling me my average pace and time. After, I can view a map of my run, showing the mileage and the pace!”

The quick run-down: Follow your interests: instant updates from your friends, industry experts, favorite celebrities, and what’s happening around the world.

Why Drew loves it: “I love consuming content on my phone and Twitter is amazing for finding relative content”

Why Tony loves it: “It’s a super simple app and its the most used and useful app on my phone. I end up needing a flashlight almost daily and its always one click away on my home screen. Super useful!”

11. David, Software Developer Intern:

The quick-run down: Google Reader helps you find and keep track of interesting stuff on the web. You can subscribe to your favorite websites, and keep up with what’s popular. New content comes to your Google Reader when it’s posted, so you don’t need to visit individual sites.

Why David Loves It: “It’s clean and does exactly what I need it to.”

12. Laurent, Software Developer Intern:

The quick run-down: Test your reflexes as your race down ancient temple walls and along sheer cliffs. Swipe to turn, jump and slide to avoid obstacles, collect coins and buy power ups, and see how far you can run!

Why Laurent loves it: “I think the graphics are really really good and it’s really entertaining game. They really improved the graphics from the first game and added more game features so even if I played the first game a lot, I was excited to download the new one.”

The quick run-down: “With features from Flight Booking to Flight Status, the United Airlines App will quickly become your indispensable travel companion.”

Why Brent Loves it: “As we’ve continued to grow at EverTrue, we’ve been traveling more for regional and national conferences for organizations including CASE, ABSAP and Blackboard World. I have been relying on the United mobile app for travel assistance on the road. While I find the United website clunky and difficult to navigate, the mobile app offers a streamlined experience for booking flights, checking standby information and issuing mobile boarding passes. United is a great example of a large organization that has turned to mobile to simplify and improve the customer experience. I hope other airlines will follow suit!”

Why Robinson Loves It: “I’d go with the game Boost 2. It’s simple to control, doesn’t crowd the screen with tons of information, and is still challenging.”

Why Pin-bo Loves It: “It lets me send realtime screencasts from my laptop to my phone so I can see what my designs look like on the device.”

17. Courtney, Director of Client Services:

The quick run-down: iHeartRadio is a free, all-in-one digital service that lets you find more than 1,000 Live Stations or create commercial-free Custom Stations featuring the artist you select and similar music.

Why Courtney Loves It: “I like the IHeartRadio app as since I got rid of my car, I feel like I never get to listen to the radio anymore! This app pulls in radio stations from around the country and what they are playing right now. It has very limited commercials and its fun to see what music is hot in different places around the country. A fun Pandora replacement!”

18. Dave, Marketing and Design Intern: Flipboard

The quick run-down: Flipboard creates a personalized magazine out of everything being shared with you. Flip through your Facebook newsfeed and Google+ Circles, tweets from your Twitter timeline, photos from Instagram friends, videos from YouTube, and much more

Why Dave Loves It: “I use it to read the news in the morning when I eat breakfast and take the T.”

The quick run-down: Spotify gives you instant access to millions of songs on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Why Helen Loves It: “It makes it way easier having your music around at all time, also you dont need to buy a iPod because you have everything in your iPhone.”

20. Shay, Customer Success Co-Op: Yelp

The quick run-down: Use Yelp to search for places to eat, shop, drink, relax and play then read reviews from an active community of locals in the know.

Why Shay Loves It: “Most of my weekends are spent on the road. Yelp is great, because I can easily find the best places for whatever I’m looking for from the locates. 9 times out of 10, it is right on par for restaurants or quick spots to grab a coffee. Yelp is great, and super easy to use!”
