In the heat of March Madness, last Thursday over 40 teams comprised of Boston’s brightest innovators came together to battle it out on the hardwood for the second year in a row at Evertrue’s “Raise the Rim” basketball tournament.
While playing it forward by contributing all net proceeds to TUGG, our team at EverTrue was fortunate to partner in this year’s tourney with sponsors CoachUp and Invest Northern Ireland, along with tourney collaborators GaggleAMP and LevelUp. To keep the event flowing and game day operations in-line at Basketball City, the all-stars at StartUp Institute also played an invaluable role to making this year’s “Raise the Rim” a success. We were even treated to a guest appearance by MA’s very own Scott Brown, who took the floor with CoachUp!
With a busy bracket, there was a wealth of healthy competition to be found at “Raise the Rim.” After 4 hours of play, and a stellar group of organizations playing ball (that in whole represented over 272M in VC Funding), CoachUp wound up repeating their championship ways against Cassidy Turley in a heated title game.CoachUp Takes Home Another Title
