Late July brings 3pm thunderstorms, cookouts, and the realization that September is just a month away… Oh, and I almost forgot—the ICAA Conference!
Independent Colleges Advancement Associates (ICAA) hosts a fantastic conference each summer in line with its mission to enhance the professional development of its members and their understanding of issues facing private higher education and institutional advancement.
Last year was our first visit to the ICAA conference, and it was the beginning of many great EverTrue relationships. Much like the difference between freshmen and sophomore year of high school, the second year of attendance sees us having gone through a growth spurt, brimming with confidence, and excited to see our friends after a summer hiatus.
To kick things off, EverTrue will be hosting the after hours networking event at The Big Bang Bar: Dueling Pianos next Wednesday night (7/30). Sure to be a raucous occasion but not too rowdy. Why? Because I will be opening the conference at 9am on Thursday with A Crash Course in Social Donor Management. We are so excited to introduce the concept of Social Donor Management to ICAA this year. It is always a blast to connect with smart, ambitious professionals at the intersection of social, mobile, and advancement.
