Old friends are great. Especially when they’re as smart as Elizabeth Breidinger. Brent and Elizabeth go all the way back to Brent’s recruiting trip to Brown. Well…maybe they do, anyway. No one can confirm exactly, but it seems likely.

Fast forward and now Elizabeth is Director of Institutional Advancement at The Pingry School after stops at the University of Chicago, her alma mater Brown, and Bennington College. After all those roles, Elizabeth has developed a strong philosophy when it comes to fundraising: Provide value to your donors.

Big or small, giving back to your donors and ensuring that they are successful is going to be increasingly required for all fundraisers. On this episode of the RAISE Podcast, Elizabeth talks through everything from a nook and providing SEO value for an alum’s research as a way that you can help donors and give them value when they decide to donate to your institution.

The Pingry School
Elizabeth Breidinger currently serves as the Director of Institutional Advancement at The Pingry School. Previously, she’s worked in fundraising at the University of Chicago, Brown University, and Bennington College, where she has held leadership positions in alumni relations, development, and major giving. She quickly found that fundraising was a natural fit when she began her career and has transitioned flawlessly from being a direct fundraiser to a manager. Elizabeth has done it all over the years. She’s created and implemented new metrics, reporting, and donor relations best practices. She’s implemented new advancement services operations, rebranded annual funds and reignited dormant planned giving programs. Her natural passion for the field comes through in everything she does and gets teams and donors excited.
