Meet the New EverTrue!

We’ve grown quickly over the last 12 months since receiving funding from an amazing group of mentors and investors from TechStars and MassChallenge.  While we’ve been excited about our mobile platform, until recently we hadn’t been very excited about our own website.

This summer we committed to prioritizing a web redesign, and this week we all huddled around Pin-bo’s monitor while we waited for Eric to “flip the switch” that made our new site go live.

Here’s a summary of some of the tech that powers our site.

1)   WordPress – we built our site on WordPress and included a mobile-friendly responsive design.   We’ve added a few great WordPress plug-ins including Yoast for SEO, Disqus for commenting, and AddThis for social sharing.

2)   Wistia – this fall we wrote, produced and recorded our new animation and it was a fun team effort.  I recently met the Wistia guys at Brick & Mortar in Cambridge and we enjoyed three Brown University cocktails during our great conversation about how to create amazing video content.

3)   Pinterest – we have seen many questions on the CASE LinkedIn Group about how schools can use Pinterest. We offered our thoughts in our Social Media Playbook webinar, but we also implemented Pinterest on our home page to showcase our partners.

4)   LinkedIn Plugins – it’s no secret that we are huge fans of LinkedIn for alumni relations & development. LinkedIn has developed some amazing plugins that are freely available. We’re using the member profile JavaScript plugin to supplement our team page.

That’s a quick overview of our new site. Please let us know what you think.   We’ll do our best to continue to update our new resources library in the coming months. Please let us know if you’d like to suggest topics for ebooks, webinars or blog posts.

Ever True!
