The Loomis Chaffee Social Media Playbook

Yesterday, EverTrue was proud to hold its largest webinar to date with Mercedes Maskalik, Web Content Editor and Social Media Manager at The Loomis Chaffee School. We first discovered Mercedes (we must be living under a rock!) when we came across her piece in the Loomis Chaffee Alumni Magazine, titled “The Importance of Being Social.” We at EverTrue, were so inspired by Mercedes and Loomis Chaffee’s achievements in building a robust social media presence that we had to write a blog post on the topic.

Once we connected with Mercedes, we needed to team up for a webinar on social media!

The Playbook (noted by our tag #smplaybook) focuses on ways that schools can improve community engagement through the use Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest.

First, we kick things off with “film review” by taking a look at the trends on these different platforms. Mercedes guides us through her dynamite playbook.

From applying a S.M.A.R.T. strategy to discovering best times to post (as a correction it’s 1PM!), from incorporating best practices on popular platforms to just getting started on the emerging,  this webinar covers a ton of ground.

Check out the webinar here and let us know what you think.

Again many thanks to those who attended and participated in the conversations.

Drew, we totally agree.
